Sample-mounting board for use with the rotator in Cell 12 at the National High Magnetic Field Lab

For mounting samples on a DIP-16 socket for use in SCM-1 at the National High Magnetic Field Lab.

Designed for use with Digikey part number 1175-1521-5-ND, but it would probably work with similar DIP-16 pin headers, or just sandard single-row pin headers.

Production Firefly

Updated version of the breakout with higher resolution silkscreen and 0.1" pitch debugging pins at the top.

A board that takes either 12 V active or normally closed circuit signal from a door interlock to power or shut off a low noise 12 V laser driver.

Features: Reduce pinheader spacing from 1.5mm to 1.27mm, for better availability of parts and easier mating with the PA board. Added resistor R103 in series with the gate of the MOSFET, to suppress self oscillication on certain conditions which could burn-off the driver module.

Minimalist breakout board for the LoFive R1, a lightweight SiFive Freedom E310 open source SoC evaluation kit.

Adafruit’s FTDI Friend (or compatible) provides 5V power and UART interface via R/A 6-pin header (Molex 22-28-8060). JTAG easily accessible via standard ARM 20-pin header (Sullins SBH11-PBPC-D10-ST-BK) or single row 6-pin header.

Simple but effective ESC tester

Interface board for the DS1603NF ultrasonic liquid sensor. Powers the sensor and provides a 20mA constant current 2Hz flashing output for the cathode of an indicator LED. A pushbutton switch in the 12V supply interrupts power, which reboots the sensor and tests the flasher circuit.

Wiring: From the main bus, connect a fused wire to one side of the switch, and to the anode (+, long leg) of the indicator LED. Connect the other switch terminal to the “12V” pad, connect panel ground to the “GND” pad, and connect the cathode (-, short leg) of the indicator LED to the “LED” pad. An LED current-limiting resistor is not needed.

Interface board for the DS1603NF ultrasonic liquid sensor. Powers the sensor and provides a 12V output under normal condition and a grounded output under low fuel alarm condition.

Wiring: From the main bus, connect a fused wire to the “12V” pad, connect panel ground to the “GND” pad, connect a momentary pushbutton switch between the “PTT” pad and ground, and connect the “OUT” pad to an EFIS alarm input.
