Jumper for position sensors used on the Touchscreen Digital Readout project. Full documentation on GitHub at TouchscreenDigitalReadout. This is a 2-7-6-8 jumper, which refers to the pin numbers on the sensor’s DE-9 connector: GND, +5V, A, B respectively.

A DIY replacement audio board for aging retro gaming hardware. Due to the lack of availability of proprietary Nintendo components, this board was designed from the ground up in order to meet the specifications and function of the original audio board while using modern, readily available components!

NOTE: This is the final revision to the DMG Audio Board as it has successfully recreated the function of the original board without any compromise using modern, readily available parts.

Requires some ‘creative’ soldering for the 2 middle pins on the DIP headers. Start with a 1x8 pin header and remove the 2 middle pins. Insert 2 right angle pins and trim the legs down a bit. Solder the 6 through hole pins from the top first and then solder the right angle pins from the bottom.

For use with a AES joystick to replace the OEM buttons with Hori, Sanwa or Seimitsu 24mm pushbuttons

This circuit provides a means to cycle the power on a Galaxy’s Edge droid (especially BB-units) to wake them up after they go to sleep (from 5 minutes of inactivity) by briefly tilting the droid upside down.

Here is an example of this PCB in action. Here are images of an assembled PCB.

In testing this circuit, when breaking the power connection to the droid, draws under 1mA of current. When power is connected to the droid, there is virtually no current drawn by this circuit. When the droid is asleep current draw is under 100uA. You could comfortably leave your droid on with this circuit in place and tilt it to wake it up when you want to use it without significant loss of battery life over months.

PCB silkscreen identifies the location of each component. The PCB can be mounted inside the droid wherever convenient as long as the switch is positioned such that it is open (off) when the droid is upright, but closed (on) when the droid is tilted upside down.
