Small USB to 3.3V Supply with protection

Homebrew DSOX Lan card for the DSOX 2k & 3k series scopes, using the current homebrew LAN board designs, but with added on functionality for USB-UART and full JTAG buffer, to utilize the internal RS232 and JTAG connectors on the scope main board.

This allows you to have 3-in-1 functionality from the same board: 1) LAN 2) USB-UART 3) JTAG buffer

The USB-UART gives a simple USB-B connector on the faceplace, which provides full acess to the RS232 connector on the scope main board. This is powered by an MCP2221 chip, which gets power from the host USB interface, so that you can have the serial port ready and open before the scope is even powered on. necessary in order to halt UBOOT at immediate scope power-on

JTAG 10-pin male IDC connector for full JTAG functionality, which is connected from 10-pin header to the main board jtag header via IDC cable.

Simple board used for evaluating a PIC16LF1783 microcontroller. This could be used with a compatible chip and similar pinout. A small section at the bottom of the board can be used to mount thru hole components. The left and right columns of pins are spaced in order to fit onto a typical breadboard.

This was an April Fool’s joke… but I don’t think anyone got it.

Amstrad CPC 512K RAM Expansion using a XC9572 5V CPLD for all logic.

Status

• First board received, assembled and CPLD programmed in-situ (via JTAG).
• Fully working with DK'Tronics Bank management and Silicon Disk software

Bugs

• Box connector needs to be mounted on underside of V1.00 board rather than on top side. This will be fixed with a V1.01 revision before moving onto the 74 Series version.

USB C PCB board adapter. I am doing a project where I want to implement a USB C plug onto the PCB. Every USB C plug I have found requires a 0.8mm board. I need a more ridged PCB so this is a quick solution that will adapt a USB C plug on an 0.8mm board, to a thicker board like 1.6mm. Currently Untested. 3x boards are $0.55 Check out the project on my github for the project. Board only adapts USB C to USB A standards.

Gates 1.8V to 5.5V power to a system to get extremely low standby power, with a timer to enable power periodically, as well as a button push to activate the system as needed.
* CR2032 battery holder and off-board power supply/battery connector.
* On-board and off-board On button support.
* Use either a 0603 or 1/8W resistor to set the length of time the system is off
* Use DONE signal to remove power programmatically
Datasheet shows how to select resistor value to set timer period.
