From the day of its launch, the ‘ESP8266’ is under the spotlight of many makers, electronic enthusiasts and hackers. The Creatorbot team was quite impressed with the ESP module and we were curious to see if we could interface this module with our 3D printer. When we decided to do it, I started researching on the tool chain for developing on the ESP module and found that LUA API from NodeMcu would be a good start. The code quality if definitely not perfect but it works fine. To make it easy to use I have develeopped ESP8266 adapter for RAMPS 3D printer shield using Eagle CAD.

RFid reader with BLE

A simple maze game based on an ATtiny85 that you navigate with four pushbuttons. The available paths in each direction are shown by four LEDs. A lit LED means that your way is blocked by a wall, and a speaker beeps if you try to move in that direction. When you get to the goal a tune confirms you’ve succeeded.

This is the control board for 8 stepper motors. Each RJ45 connector supplies GND, Step, Direction, and a signal line from a limit switch at the motor. Each motor driver is attached to the motor. Using ethernet cables to easily transfer data signals from Teensy to motor drivers.
