Clone of the JVC IF-C01COMG RGB/YPbPr input board for JVCs professional video monitors (PVMs) like the TM-H1950CG. This is the through-hole version, opposed to the SMD version also available, so it is easier to solder by hand.

The optional components have been removed to save space.

The diodes (except D201) should be BAT46-TR and the transistors BC550 (or alike). For D201 I used a 1N5242BTR (Mouser P/N: 610-1N5242BTR). The FPC/FFC connector should be a HLW14R-2C7LF or SLW14R-1C7LF depending on which FPC/FFC cable is used (same-side contacts or opposite side contacts), I used the HLW14R-2C7LF. If the FPC stuff is not used, there are designators to which pad does what on the bottom, so wires can be soldered directly to the board from SCART, BNC, RCA or whatever.

Power regulator should be a LM2940 12V in TO-220 house.

Resistors should be 6.3mm long, ceramic capacitors have a lead spacing of 2.5mm. Example resistors:

This uses the same serial port pinout as the Arduino Pro Mini. The software serial port is accomplished with a half-duplex RxTx pin on PB5 along with accompanying hardware to emulate separate RX/TX pins. To use this, you will need to modify the fuses to turn off Reset AFTER burning the TSB bootloader. This arrangement keeps all of the normal pins PB0-PB4 available for project use.

This board also uses an alternate method of performing reset (auto-reset supported) by using a mosfet to disconnect GND when the Reset line is low.

Suggested Fuses:

• for 5V 16MHz operation: Low=0xF1, High=0xDC (0x5C after burning bootloader), Ext=0xFE
• for 3.3V 8MHz operation: Low=0xE2, High=0xDD (0x5D after burning bootloader), Ext=0xFE

• U2: SOT-23 - XC6206 (662k) 3.3v LDO regulator (6V max input), or 78L05 (L05) 5v regulator

All other connectors are 2.54 pitch male pin headers. Jumpers J7, J8, J9 and J10 require pin jumpers like: http://a.co/bSmXWlI to bridge at least two pins for operation.

NB: The USB-A connector footprint is backwards on this design! If you want to assemble this board, you can mitigate this by mounting the connector to the back of the board instead of the front. Otherwise I believe this board works.

This is a breakout board for the ATTiny 25/44/85 DIP chips. It allows you to use sockets to access the IO of the ATT chips, plus has an included resistor and led connected to pin PB0.
