ORDER .8MM FOR BEST FIT. A simple pcb to add s video fuctionality to a model 1 genesis without turning the console shell to swiss cheese. It has an optional subcarrier circuit reroute to reduce jailbars for all video outputs. The connector goes ON TOP of the motherboard, it is a kmdgx 10s bs 10 pin connector so you will need to use a sega saturn s video cable for this. Untested so let me know if it works right but it should be great. the resistor on the luma line (pin 16 pad) is 27 ohms, the transistor on that line is a 2sc4617tlq npn. The resistor on the chroma line(pin 15 pad) is a 75 ohm. The cap on that line is a 3528 tantalum but could probably put a can electro if wanted, positive side facing the pad. For the subcarrier line, first component is a resistor 10k ohms, second component is a capacitor .1uf, third component is a resistor 1k ohms, last component is a 100pf capacitor, all components(including the 2 resistors on the luma chroma lines are 0603 size). to install: first place the connector on top, then solder the pins and flushcut them, then tape the bottom to avoid shorts. then remove the rf box on the console, then add caplegs to the top ground holes on each side, then add a capleg to the rightmost hole for 5v there are 3 round holes it will be the right one but check continuity to a 5v spot to make sure you got the right hole. Then place the board over the rf area and solder down. Pull chroma from pin 15 of the cxa1145 encoder, luma from pin 16 from the encoder, and audio left and right from either the headphone preamp or the headphone jack. For the optional subcarrier restore (recommended) lift pin 50 of the vdp(video processor) and run a wire from it to the pin 50 pad on the pcb. Then run a wire from the pin 6 pad (pin 6 pad next to audio left and right pad for va2-3, pin 6 pad next to vdp pin 50 pad for va6 ( next to it to pin 6 on the cxa1145 encoder. Recommended to remove at least the .1uf cap on the bottom of the board leading to pin 6 on the encoder or all 4 components on the subcarrier line for best working.

based off the mikemoffit and yoshiyukiblade circuit but with my own twist and extras, here is a sharpening circuit for the 3 chip (or 2 chip if you want to call it) snes. Works with every version. Untested pcb so if used please tell me if the fit is right and everything is all good. This is a combo bypass and sharpener in one and can be used to fix the s video and composite too. You can use a ths7373,7374, or 7376 chip but if using the 7374 short the jumper. For the chip components, the top component above the top jumper pad is the .1uf cap the bottom component under the bottom jumper is the 4.2k resistor This isnt the best way to sharpen the snes, just a cheap fun project i did i see alot of want for this. I would buy voultars if you want a legit right way to sharpen the snes but try this if interested. Remove the input and output resistors and transistors(there are plenty of guides now) and use 24-30 pf caps are the first components after the chip then 450-470 ohm resistors are the output resistors after the caps. For the encoder section, all 1k resistors for the first row, then 150 ohm next, then the .1uf caps are last. the castellated vias are to line up with the right side of the caps of the cpu 01 snes(first model, need to remove the caps from the snes first). the encoder pads are to send the outputs of the rgb to the encoder of all other 3 chip snes consoles. Made to fix glitchy graphics on certain famicom disk system adapters. Place over first row of pins on back of pcb and very left rows, both top and bottom pins should line up then solder the vias to the pcb. Resistor arrays are two CAY16-472J4lF 4 resistor 4.7k ohms. Untested so let me know if it works and the fit is right.

special thanks to citrus3000psi and extrems for the original design as well as emu_kidid. This is my version of the sd2sp2 adapter for gamecube with a few changes and upgrades of my own. One is i made the shape slightly different. Two i removed the solder resist from the pins for better conectivity, like a cartridge would have. Lastly, I use a spring loaded connector for the card which i feel holds the card in place better, I dont like the standard holder that is on all the other ones. It’s kind of hard to solder the pins but pin one and 8 dont need solder, just 2-7. The cap is a 22pf 0805 package, the or gate is a sn74ahc1g32dck3 and the connector is a mem2061-01-188-00-a

Order .8mm for best fit. A simple pcb to defeat the cic lockout in a frontloader nes instead of using two wires. this goes on the bottom of the cic chip and the 74hcuo4 ic. The top of the pcb has the traces and no writing that side goes up. On the frontloading nes, locate the cic and 74huoc inverter, the inverter will be to the right and down from the cic. Place this board to where the topmost right hole goes on pin 8 of the cic(it will be the last pin on the top right of the cic) it should line up over pin 7 and 8 of the cic, and pin 1 and 2 of the inverter. Then simply solder the 4 vias in place and done. No need to solder the holes without copper rings on them.
