This board is a drop in for the obsolete 2SC3381 and 2SA1349. For a complementary input stage, you will need two boards per amplifier channel, or four for a stereo pair.

The board is designed to accept any combination of BC337, BC327, BC550, or BC560 transistors. The transistor marked “driver” sets the board polarity, e.g. a board filled with BC337 (NPN) drivers replaces the 2SC3381, and requires BC327s or BC560 (PNP) in the remaining position.

Matching the driver transistors for Vbe at 0.5mA will result in better THD.

Resistors R1 and R2 set the idle current of the driver transistor. 2k runs the input device at 0.5mA and is a good compromise between minimizing base current, THD, and noise. For best results, use a thin film, low tempco resistor in the 1206 with a tolerance of 1% or better, such as the Yageo RT.

C1 and C2 are optional. They can be populated if oscillation is observed. Values in the range of 220pF to 680pF work well. The footprint fits the Wima FKP2 film and foil capacitors (5mm lead spacing). Tolerance is not critical. With BC337/327, they do not seem to be needed at 2mA per pair.

A rewriteable reproduction QCard PCB for Suzuki QChords using off the shelf, available SMD components. The flash module uses a TSOP32 package.

A cartridge adapter to allow custom reproduction QCards to be [re]programmed after assembly. Requires a 36-pin card edge connector and two rows of header pins. Intended for use with a TL866 programmer.

The pbcb Power
- This boards small. how small is it? So small I had to put multiple so it’d be big enough for pcb fabs to make it. - It’s no bigger than the port itself.
- Can be printed small enough the resistors can face the port itself instead of sticking off the back.
- Through hole port for strength, keeping the entire thing small, allow for one sided assembly of the resistors so you don’t have to solder those on yourself, makes it more noob friendly.
- has large copper areas to help prevent pad burn off, making it more noob friendly to put together/use
- Port. For the resistor you can use any 5.1kΩ.
- Use a max board thickness 0.8mm. - Has extra useless stuff removed to make it cheaper on here

Small flex PCB that you can cut up as needed for circuit bodging with 0603 components.

This board mounts on the existing binding posts of a BK Precision 8500 electronic load to add standard banana jacks.

North Coast Modular Collective presents: A super simple oscillator

The goal of this project is to create a super simple oscillator that can be used for teaching basic electronics, basic DIY, and basic synthesis with low cost and low risk.

“Mt. Brighton Avalanche Oscillator” is a community developed and open-source kit designed specifically for learning. Its low part count, low complexity, and low cost is coupled with a transparency in design and function that makes it easier to understand and describe what is happening with the electricity and sound. When complete, you’ll have a simple, standalone battery operated synthesizer with a single knob for changing the pitch of the sound that you can plug headphones into, or other music gear.
