This PCB replaces the low-frequency antenna PCB for Proxmark3 Easy devices. It includes footprints for soldering a coil to the board as well as footprints for 2.54mm pitch headers and an SMA connector. It also has footprints to include through-hole or SMD resistors and capacitors to help tune and attenuate the antenna.

NOTE: I am not an RF wizard. I do not know what the RF implications of these extra footprints, especially if populated, are. Will they cause interference? Will they degrade the signal? Will they create RF noise in surrounding electronic devices? I do not know. However I have assembled one and it seemed to work fine so…

This PCB is designed to be a custom identity chip for Tron Lightcycle Run devices that accept identity chips. A 150mil SOIC-8 SPI flash memory chip (i.e. Winbond W25Q16BV) should be mounted upside down into the center hole of the PCB.

The 0805 100nF (.1uF) capacitor and 10k resistor are located to act as the tab to pull on when removing the chip from its socket. 0603 components will also fit those pads.

This PCB has been tested only in an identity disc bluetooth speaker.

This is a blank, low frequency antenna PCB for the Proxmark3 Easy. You will need to source an appropriate antenna for it. The 0805 surface mount pad is for adding capacitance and/or resistance to help tune the antenna as needed.

The stock PM3 has about 3.2nF of capacitance across the antenna. If your coil had an inductance of about 350uH then another 1nF capacitor would help tune it to about 125kHz.

It is possible to reuse the transistors and SOT-23 LDO off a stock blade controller with this PCB.

It is also fine to use a 1 kOhm resistor at R8 instead of 10 kOhm if you wish to simplify things a bit.
