My version of a 2x3, 1.27mm pitch POGO pin adapter. Inspired by PogoProg Model D that I’ve used, but is no longer in stock.

Materials

• 0.68mm diameter POGO pins; P50-E2 or P50-B1
• 2.54mm pitch 2x3 header; male, right angle or male 2x3 socket

Assembly Tips

• Place the PCB on top of something with the POGO pin side hanging over the edge.
• Insert POGO pins, using the height of the object(s) holding the PCB up to set the high of the POGO pins.
• May help to insert and solder two pins at a time.
• Use lots of flux to help the solder flow.
• Excess solder can be removed with a solder sucker or by wicking small amounts of solder onto a clean iron tip, cleaning the tip, then repeating several times.
• Wash POGO pins thoroughly with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) after assembly to remove any flux inside the pins that might cause them to become stiff later on.

Powered by a CR2032 and using the WT51822-S4AT bluetooth module, this board turns the bluetooth module on when motion is detected via the AM312 PIR sensor. When not active the circuit draws about 10uA and 1.4mA when active. This allows for a beacon to operate for weeks off a single button cell battery.

Test jig designed to test an assembled Ruthsarian Blade Controller. The board is designed to test the assembled board upside down with the BB image on the controller facing up, away from the test jig.

• 3x 1.3mm diameter, 16mm long pogo pin
• 7x 0.68mm diameter, 16mm long pogo pin
• 1x 10 position, 2.54mm pitch header
• 4x 1 position, 2.54mm pitch male header

Suggestion for assembly is to add 1 male header pin to each corner. Then place a second board over the first, aligning it over the pins. Insert pogo pins through both boards to keep them aligned. Solder pogo pins to top board and then solder corner pins to top board. This process takes up two boards, which is not necessary, but assembly and stability will be greatly improved.

NOTE: this is version 4.1 H and is different from version 4.1 L. The two versions are similar except they use different LDOs for the LEDs (U2).
