RUDY - the Random USB Device - is a fully open source, breadboard friendly, Arduino-compatible(ish) ATmega328 development board with optional USB functionality via the V-USB library.

It’s the successor of the ATmegaX8 Protoboard and features an ISP header (smaller 6-pin this time), all the circuitry for V-USB, and is either powered straight from the programmer or the USB port - either directly at 5.0V or via a 3.3V voltage regulator.

Just like my original ESP-01 Tamer (see my other projects), but with a micro USB socket instead of the USB-A plug.

This little board makes it super easy to use the ESP-8266 ESP-01 board in the Arduino environment. The following features are provided:

• CH340G based USB serial interface
• Auto control of RST/IO0 for downloading (uses DTR and RTS like NodeMCU, Wemos mini, etc.)
• Onboard 3.3v regulator
• Bidirectional 5v/3.3v logic level conversion on Rx, Tx, IO0, IO2
• Breadboard-friendly breakout of all essential pins

just a rough as guts throw together for my own personal use. This was the cheapest route to convert a male SCART head across to BNC for PVM input. Just route an off cut/ cheap piece of cable through, solder down and add screw down BNC terminals for RGBs, shielded audio and RCA connectors or a cut up RCA cable for audio.
