The SNES Super RAMJOB is a memory module designed to work with SNES/SFC cartridges that are utilizing rom-hacks which require more SRAM than what’s presently available on the cartridge PCB.

Typically, SNES/SFC cartridges with SRAM are 256Kbit in size. The Super RAMJOB utilizes a AS6C1008 which is 1Mbit in size, allowing for up to 4 times available RAM.

Wire A15 and A16 to the ROM pins A15 and A16 and pull the /OE line (SNES SRAM PIN 22) on the existing SRAM high to force it to HI-Z, allowing the Super RAMJOB to work on the bus.

This small interface is designed to allow easy acquisition of expansion audio from either real Famicom cartridges or a Flash-Drive that has expansion audio capabilities via cartridge pin 54. Installation picture including component map can be found in ZIP.

NOTE: The install picture in the ZIP file annotates the cartridge pin as 54, this is an error on the silk-screen. This board is positioned directly over pin 51 on the NES Top-Loader Mainboard.
