Onkyo DX-C606 IR remote control headphone volume adjust using digital potentiometers. Intended to replace “Headphone volume pc board assy” (U4). Transfer analog stereo POT from original PCB to this one. Provides approx 20dB attenuation of headphone audio signal using IR controlled volume UP/DOWN remote buttons. Attach control logic inputs from Q202.51 (VR-) and Q202.52 (VR+). Uses audio op-amp supplies +15, -15V from main-board.

This board will allow you to replace the 4K non-volatile FRAM with volatile battery backed SRAM.

Works with Sonic The Hedgehog 3 sega genesis / megadrive cartridge only.

Must be ordered using 2oz Cu option for 0.8mm thickness to ensure proper fitment.

• Resistor: R1 1K ohm

• Diodes: D1 & D2 1N4148

• Battery: 3V CMOS CR2032

Please note you will also need to provide 2.54mm headers.

This board is designed for constructing 14, 16, 18, and 20-pin DIP IC circuits. The “equals” signs (=) indicate holes connected together on the top side of board; the enclosed square is most commonly used as a common ground bus. . Ordering in the “After Dark” option is best, since the clear solder mask will make bottom side traces much more visible. The two mounting holes accept either M2 or #2-56 screws. Obviously there is no Bill of Materials or documentation needed, so no links are listed.

This little board is suitable for constructing most circuits which utilize a single 8-pin DIP IC, including single and dual op-amps, 555 timers, and 386 audio amplifiers–among many others.
