This small breakout board/adapter for SOIC-8, MSOP-8 and TSSOP-8 allows to use SMDs for prototyping and/or with a breadboard. Indeed, the pin rows with pin spacing at 0.1 inches (2.54 mm) are 0.3 inches (7.6mm) apart.
