This is a very simple board that allows you to tap the 5V rail of a USB connection while passing the data signals through. It also uses an INA250 to provide a current monitor so you can figure the total current draw of your projects. It sets the Is pin to 2V per amp. You can put a scope on that to spot transients and watch the current draw over time.
