Pins 5, 6, 7 and 8 don’t need to be connected.

The two pins on both LM3046 ends are for a 1k 3300ppm PTC (tempco) resistor. It replaces R90/R168 so don’t keep it on the VCO board. It has been tested in LTSpice to well correct the temperature deviation with the exact circuit.
