Invensense’s bottom-ported MEMS digital microphones with an embedded ASIC which directly outputs 24-bit I2S serial data without the need of a CODEC. Enlarged sound port holes. Board is intended for echo location (sonar) using the Teensy 3.x or Edison microcontrollers.

Appallingly small Teensy 3.x add-on board with 16 Mbytes of fast serial flash memory using an SPI communications interface. Pin out and 5 mm x 6 mm WSON package common to Spansion and Winbond flash chips so either can be used. Board mounts onto the non-USB end of Teensy 3.x or Teensy-LC.

Invensense’s latest motion sensor is a 7-axis accel/gyro plus pressure sensor integrated into a small package. The ICM20730 can be master to four slave devices; here ST Microelectronics' LIS3MDL magnetometer and Measurement Specialties MS5637 pressure/temperature sensor. This is an evaluation board to see how the ICM20730 embedded pressure sensor compares with a high-accuracy pressure sensor I have a lot of experience with and confidence in. The 9 DoF data will allow the use of open-source sensor fusion to get quaternions and Invensense has its own brand of sensor fusion with which this can be compared. This board will be used to gather beta user experience for feedback to Invensense as well as evaluate the integrated 7-axis capability for use in various development projects.
