Dual Relay FeatherWing - PTH

FeatherWing for Adafruit Feathers to control two relays via I2C using an MCP23008. Component selection based on the Adafruit Power Relay FeatherWing, but modified to use through-hole components and the MCP23008.

Requires 5V in.

I recommend getting this printed using the 2oz Copper with 0.8mm FR4 option

For the Feather I have test this with and used the Adafruit Huzzah 8266, but any Feather should work.

BOM:

  • P1: Traco TSR-1 2433
  • U1: MCP23008
  • R1, R3, R4, R6: 1KOhm Resistor 1/4W
  • R2, R5: 10KOhm Resistor 1/4W
  • R7-R8 - 4.7KOhm Resistor 1/4W
  • D1-D2: 1N4148
  • J1: PJ-102A
  • K1-K2: G5LE-14 DC3
  • T1-T2: 5.08MM 3 pin screw terminals. I got mine from Amazon.
  • Q1-Q2: PN2222
