This board is used to make custom remote nodes for a usbXR . Several pins of ATmega8 is brought out. These are: UART, I2C, SPI (shared with NRF24L01+ module), INT0, one ADC and 2 DIO pin. An LED is also provided.
Li-Ion cell is the intended power supply, to be connected to BAT pins. Recharging source (up to 6V) could be connected to IN pins. LTC4054 chip is used for charging. XC6026 3.3V LDO powers the MCU and NRF24L01+ module.
Using 32.768kHz crystal, very low power consumption can be achieved through AVR Power Save sleep mode.
Changes from RemoteSensor v1:
- Added option for HC49US crystal (eg: 16MHz). If 32kHz crystal is used, the body may touch the unused pads. So these pads should preferably be insulated.
2.. Removed pads for push button. External button can be connected to INT0 or other pins.
