This board is ~half of the NodeMCU v3 board, including a micro USB connector, a CP2102 serial converter, and the transistors needed to toggle the RST and IO0 lines to enable button-less flashing. IO0 and RST also have momentary switches. Power is supplied via an AP2112 LDO, which can deliver 300mA at 3.3V, which is enough for the ESP8266/ESP32 itself, but not many peripherals.
RX/TX and Power LEDs are included but make sure to use CP2102N for these to work. CP2102 doesn’t have the GPIO pins, but is otherwise pin-compatible..
This model is verified to work at 1.5Mbaud flash rates on ESP8266 and ESP32.
