[NOTE: This board hasn’t been tested yet. It’s simple enough that I’m fairly certain it’s OK, but in case it’s not, this is why. After I test it, I’ll remove this note.]
This is a breadboard adapter for accommodating two vertical RCA connectors, specifically ones from CUI Devices RCJ-02 series. (I specifically like RCJ-024 since its yellow and I intend to use these for video.) It’s based on a similar board I made for Thonkiconn-style 3.5mm mono jacks. This one uses a ground plane and thicker traces, just in case it matters for my video use cases.
BOM:
- (2) CUI Devices RCJ-024 Yellow RCA Phono Connectors (or a different color from the RCJ-02 series) [Mouser part #: 490-RCJ-024]
- (2) 2x3 0.1"-spacing pin headers
