Small circuit to restore S-Video compatible output once RF modulator has been removed. Works nicely in combination with the LumaFix64! Designed for shortboard C64s, but with a little rewiring can be made to work with the longboards. Bear in mind that you will need to tap +5v from elsewhere on the motherboard if you do. Consult your favourite search engine for the correct modulator pin connections.
This version of the S-Video mod was designed using AntaBaka’s veroboard schematic, which in turn was based off JMP$FCE2’s original schematic.
The diode used in this circuit is a 1N4148. The other components are as displayed on the silkscreen. Some schematics recommend swapping the 470R resistor for a 1K if you are installing this on a shortboard C64 or a C128.
