A breakout board for a rotary encoder with pullups for both data lines. The board breaks out the following:
- VCC: connect to a 5V source
- A: the ‘A’ data line from the encoder. Connect to an input pin
- B: the ‘B’ data line from the encoder. Connect to an input pin
- GND: ground
The footprint for the two resistors is SMD 0805.
The board is compatible with:
- Bourns PEC12R
- Alps EC12
- Sparkfun rotary encoder, COM-09117
The footprint of these encoders is common, so the chances are that your encoder will also fit this size. Just compare the datasheet of your encoder and one of the encoders listed above.
