Ard. MegaShield for 3x2 motor controllers, using Pololu carrier board, with BlueTooth.
This has now been tested. I don’t claim the board is beautifully designed, but it worked without a flaw apparently. I need to document it more fully outside this description here: https://github.com/PIFAH/gluss.
The basic board let’s you solder in 3 Pololu dual-channel 1-amp motor drivers and 1 Sparkfun Blue SMIRF Bluetooth carrier board to produce a Bluetooth controllable 6-channel shield.
Note that it draws power from Vin, which is apparently only rated for 1 amp, so there is a danger of drawing too much power. Putting separate power jack on the board would fix that—perhaps in V0.3 I will do that.
I am specifically using the Firgelli linear actuators here, not motors connected to wheels, and I have 6 headers wired for that. However, someone could ignore those headers or change the desire if they want a different physical mating.
