The neo:bit is an add-on board for connecting NeoPixels to a BBC micro:bit. It gives you:
- A level shifter connected to pin P16 for driving NeoPixels.
- Level shifters connected to pins P13 and P15 for driving DotStars.
- A 3.5mm audio jack for headphones, connected to pin P0.
- A Qwiic connector for attaching I2C peripherals.
- Two slide potentiometers, connected to pins P1 and P2.
- A barrel connector for a 5-12V power supply, which powers the NeoPixels, and can also power the micro:bit via a 3.3V regulator.
