Can be used as 8 bit IO expander, 4x4 Keyboard interface or LCD 16x2 or 20x4. Also can be used as a preamble to control any 8 relays borads with 8 inputs, using just 2 I2C wires from the MCU. Can be used as a polling device or with the interrupt signal provided in the input connector. Be careful D1 is shown in reverse, please position cathode direct thru the INT pin.
