A simple “astable multivibrator” circuit designed for testing SMD stencil techniques and SMD soldering techniques. Requires two transistors (ST2222 or equivalent, SOT-23,) two LEDs (0805,) two capacitors (0603,) and four resistors (also 0603.) Touch 9V battery to exposed pads on opposite side to test assembled circuit.
Using 1uF capacitors, 1k resistors, and 1M resistors, the LEDs blink rapidly, but not rapidly enough to call it flickering.
