The board is for use in a short Ground Plane (GP) antenna for Amateur Radio Direction Finding (ARDF), with a single loading coil and matching circuit at its center feedpoint. It is designed to operate between 3.5 MHz and 3.6 MHz with an SWR below 1.5:1. Simply suspend the far end of the antenna six meters above the ground, plug the other into an 80m ARDF transmitter, and fox setup is complete.
