This adapter can be used to connect a Black Magic Probe JTAG/SWD programmer and debugger to a PMOD interface popular on FPGA development boards. When using an IP core with JTAG/SWD interface this adapter makes it easy to connect an ARM Cortex type Debug cable to your FPGA project.
This adapter was originally designed to interface the Black Magic Probe JTAG/SWD programmer and debugger with SiFive E310 RISC-V evaluation bitstream running on the Xilinx Arty evaluation board.
