Switcher and mute button between headset and 2 computers.
Version 2 changes: Switched to using Analog Devices audio switch https://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/data-sheets/ADG733_734.pdf halved the board size de-popping the mic when mute is activated added reverse-current protection diode
BOM: https://www.digikey.com/BOM/Create/CreateSharedBom?bomId=8390108 +100k resistors +controller button/switch (just put 5v to U to mute, 5v to 2 to switch to the second audio source)
Notes: PWR USB can be connected to a computer safely to provide 5v power to the board. CTRL USB should NOT be connected to a computer, but rather to a custom button/switch. I use a USB port because it’s cheap, 4-wire, and easily available. If the 5v logic lines from the custom button/switch are applied to a computer’s USB port, it could fry the port.
