IF-C01COMG Clone, Through-hole version

Clone of the JVC IF-C01COMG RGB/YPbPr input board for JVCs professional video monitors (PVMs) like the TM-H1950CG. This is the through-hole version, opposed to the SMD version also available, so it is easier to solder by hand.

The optional components have been removed to save space.

The diodes (except D201) should be BAT46-TR and the transistors BC550 (or alike). For D201 I used a 1N5242BTR (Mouser P/N: 610-1N5242BTR). The FPC/FFC connector should be a HLW14R-2C7LF or SLW14R-1C7LF depending on which FPC/FFC cable is used (same-side contacts or opposite side contacts), I used the HLW14R-2C7LF. If the FPC stuff is not used, there are designators to which pad does what on the bottom, so wires can be soldered directly to the board from SCART, BNC, RCA or whatever.

Power regulator should be a LM2940 12V in TO-220 house.

Resistors should be 6.3mm long, ceramic capacitors have a lead spacing of 2.5mm. Example resistors:

  • 100R, Mouser P/N: 603-MFR-25FBF52-100R
  • 33K, Mouser P/N: 603-MFR-25FRF52-33K

Example ceramic capacitors:

  • 180pF, Mouser P/N: 810-FA18C0G1H18100
  • 39pF, Mouser P/N: 810-FG18C0G1H390JNT0
  • 100nF, Mouser P/N: 594-K104K15X7RF53L2
