A replacement headphone jack + mono amplifier for the DMG.
An updated version of this board is available on GitHub.
I designed this to have an easy replacement for the aging headphone jacks.
Feed L + R directly from the volume potentiometer, connect GND, VCC, the speaker.
You can connect VCC either from the battery (after switch) or regulated power.
Adjust the trimpot to reduce the power draw (and max volume) of the amplifier.

- TRIMPOT: 10kΩ HDK VG039NSNXTB103 or BOURNS TC33X-2-103E
- L1, L2: Ferrite bead 0805
- C1, C2, C5: 1µf 0805
- C3, C4: 220pf 0805
- R1, R2: 220Ω 0805
- R3, R4: 100Ω 0805
- R5: 10kΩ 0805
Notes
The headphone jack outer diameter is a bit smaller than the original. A 3d printed part should be added to close the space left behind.
