Battery-free replacement for the 6264 SRAM used in the Fairlight CVI for internal non-volatile memory. When installed, the legacy battery should be removed. The FM1608 FRAM needs to have its chip select qualified with the E clock, so it always sees an edge before an access. The 74LS00 and “ECLK” wire accomplishes this. The ECLK wire terminates in an IC “grabber clip.” This should be clipped to pin 25 of the 68B21 IC on the CVI motherboard. If you have a soldering iron, you can also remove the clip and solder directly to pin 25.
