Basic 20mm direct drive FET based LED driver, PWM on ATtiny13a PB1 (pin 6), 4.3v zener, reverse polarity protection. NO low voltage or thermal protection.
U1: ATtiny13a or equivalent
FET (U2): Infineon BSC010NE2LSI n-channel MOSFET (8-PowerTDFN package)
D1: rectifier diode (BAV116W-7-F) or jumper
D2: 4.3v zener diode (MMSZ5229B-TP)
C1: 4.3 - 10uf
R1: 200ohm
Center positive connection allows for direct connection between emitter and positive spring braid. 2mm wide ground rings with additional 1mm clearance to components.
