A Spixels board that provides higher current path to LED-strip connectors to be able to drive more LEDs directly. Ideally >= 2oz outer layers, 1oz inner layers, but OshPark only allows for half.

Power supply for Pi and LED power are separate, so that it is possible to drive LEDs on a different voltage or to reverse the voltage if CLK/DATA needs to be reversed. Provides jumper to connect the LED power to the Pi.

IR receiver and charlieplexed LED ring around volume control. Used in https://github.com/hzeller/DerKnopf but can be useful for other things as well. 6-wire charlieplexing for 30 LEDs, lined up exactly with 1/32 turn for 32-detent encoder; two spacing.
