Normally used with 220/330R values for SCSI termination. Use Bourns Series CAY16 arrays, 5 of each value. Install preferred type of pin on side lacking outline.

Enables the use of serial peripherals, such as a mouse, with HP 100/200LX PDAs, and connection to a host PC with a simple straight-thru male-female cable. A null-modem cable can also connect the PDA to a computer, but thru the PERIPHERAL port.

Fit a male DE9 to the PERIPHERAL footprint, and a female one to the PC footprint. CD-DSR should be a jumper, to short Carrier Detect to Dataset Ready when using the 200LX attached to a host PC with a straight-thru cable (adapter providing null-modem functionality). Finally, a 2x5 2mm pitch, 90 degree header block, or a pigtail with the same connector, should be attached to the last footprint, providing the connection to the PDA.

Meant initially for using a PC standard floppy drive on a Toshiba T3100, this might work with other devices using 26pin floppies. Verify pinouts for your case. Whatever was device specific, I left out to be made with solder bridges, cuts and wires. Add a shrouded header, a 26pin keyed female connector and a floppy Berg connector on wires for 5V feed to your FDD.

I HAVEN’T TESTED THIS YET!!! While it shouldn’t set your machine on fire, verify that 5V and GND aren’t shorted before powering up. I make no claims about the usability of this project, and any damage that may occur to your machine is your problem, and yours alone.

That said, I measured this thing at least three times.
