Light control board for LED lights. Use 2 boards for control; one board at light with AC input and output and SSR installed, and one board at the control board with a resistor installed. Connect SSR+, SSR- to DC control voltage, set resistor for 20 mA current through SSR. Max load of LED light is 1.2 A at up to 240 V AC. Connect D1, D2 from dimming wires in light to 500 k potentiometer at control board for dimming.

Interface DB-9 connector to Sparkfun MAX3232 breakout board (BOB-11189). Connect TTL signals, 3.3 to 5 V, and ground to 4 pins at the edge of the board. Directly plug BOB-11189 into a header, or solder header pins between the boards. No mounting holes.

Add through-hole MAX3232 serial transceiver chip to serial console of a BeagleBone board. Powers BeagleBone from power pads - add screw terminal block or solder wires. RS232 serial output on DB-9 connector, and MAX3232 powered from BeagleBone, so no danger of toasting BB from serial data input. Also breakout board for all expansion pins. Not for stacking capes, but custom hard-wired pins, such as to a connector for a Mesa Electronics isolation board.
