There could be a bunch of improvements - but it works.
BOM:
- 3 x 4N35 optoisolators
- 4 x 4.7K resistors
- 1 x 180 or 220 ohm resistor (I actually ended up using a 220)
- 1 x 4 position screw terminals 3.5mm pitch
- 1 x LM2596 adjustable dc/dc step down module (~1.690"x0.850")
- 1 x WeMos D1 Mini ESP8266 - there is a ESP32 module that should be pin compatible
- 2 x 8 pin single row header/socket for WeMos D1 Mini
- 4 x 1 pin header for mounting the LM2596
Make sure to set the LM2596 module output to 5.0v output before mounting to board
