This is a board designed to be used with the Teensy 3.6 with header pins, to provide RS422 channels and 2 separate RS232 channels for interfacing a transponder with RS422 traffic and weather to an RS232 system using GDL90 format. This will allow you to Receive RS422 GDL90 input at 115,200 baud, and then transmit it out after baud rate conversion on another RS232 channel.
You will need software on your Teensy 3.6 to make this all work. This board simply gives you the hardware required.

For an enclosure: Hammond 3.2x2.2x.91" Extruded Aluminum Enclosure 1455C801
Mating Connector: Cinch D-Sub Connector 15-pin Male 40-9815M
Other parts you may want: Kapton tape for protecting the pins from the enclosure. (or use packaging tape) D-Sub machined pins for the box connector (Pins such as 204370-8 or MilSpec M39029/64-369 are not included in the above). (Alternate Pin source: SteinAir SA-1018) If you want to join DB connector shells to another mating connector, you may want these hex nuts Conec 160X10379X or Digi-Key 626-2113-ND.

This is a board designed to be used with the Teensy 3.6 with header pins, to provide 4 separate RS232 channels for Transmit and 4 channels of Receive. This will allow you to Receive RS232 GDL90 input at whatever baud rate you wish, and then transmit it out after baud rate conversion on another RS232 channel. It also will allow a Receive Channel for Baro Altitude, and a Receive Channel for Transponder squawk code, and a Transmit channel that can combine the two, to send to a UAT. This is the final version of the GDL90 converter board, configured for the Murata Horizontal regulator. The pins are oriented in the proper direction for use of the Murata. The only thing missing is that it would be nice to place a 3A schottky diode in line with the power input, because if you power the Teensy 3.6 from USB without cutting the power circuit trace, it will back feed power out to your power bus when the unit is only powered by USB. You can cut a trace on the Teensy 3.6 to prevent this, but that will prevent you from being able to power it by USB if you want to program it when it is not powered by external power. You will need software on your Teensy 3.6 to make this all work. This board simply gives you the hardware required.

Also, Kapton tape for protecting the pins from the enclosure.
