Plugs into an ST-Link V2 to convert the 100mil 20-pin header into a 100mil and 50mil 10-pin headers with standard SWD pinout. A reset switch and some test loops are also provided.

Because of the height of the header on the ST-Link relative to the housing, I recommend using a piece of ~1/16" or 2mm thick craft foam as a spacer between the bottom of the board and the ST-Link. It can be cut to eh outline of this board, with a rectangle cutout for the header on the bottom, and glued or double-stick-taped to the bottom of the PCB.

DO NOT USE ATMEL 50-MIL RIBBON CABLES WITH THIS ADAPTER! Use standard straight-through ribbon cables instead.

Two strips of thin double-stick tape above and below the ICE connectors will help keep the board secure.
