This is an impedance analyzer based on the AD5933. It has an AD8606 analog buffer, optional AD9834 clock generator, and an ATmega32u4 with a USB interface for control and data capture. An earlier version of this board was built and tested, and performed well. This version is essentially the same, but has some slight improvements in layout.

Status

  • First board received, assembled and CPLD programmed in-situ (via JTAG).
  • Memory passing basic tests with an unexpanded CPC464, timing seems fine.
  • DK'Tronics software detects board and reports all 512K in memory test on startup

This version fixes the connector pin-out to be compatible with MX4 Motherboards and standard ribbon cable arrangements.
